Waterpolo #1

Story

This is my brainy idea or big-hearted reason for supporting brain matters.

With this being such a special cause to all of us, we would really appreciate any contribution large or small. Many of us got the opportunity to play Waterpolo with Connor from year 7 all the way until Firsts Waterpolo in year 11, and so in homage of Connor and the time we got to spend with him in the pool, these are our fundraising goals

  • If we collectively raise $1500 we will lather ourselves in the darkest fake tan available.

  • At $2500 we will don the traditionally worn waterpolo cap for the run

  • And the grand prize at $5000 will be 10 strapping lads running with only their budgie smugglers and caps, so ladies start lining up

Runners:

Alex Page, Brad Johnson, Elliot Harris, James and Adam Nettlefold, Jack Oxlade, Stu Keen, Harrison Vulcan, Stu Keen, Tim Edmonds and Calum Mcleod

Join me and show the world the brain is where the heart lives.

The Robert Connor Dawes Foundation (The Trustee for)

    SUPPORTING BRAIN MATTERS
The Robert Connor Dawes (RCD) Foundation - In memory of Robert Connor Dawes. We support brain cancer matters in the areas of Research, Care and Development.

    RESEARCH:
Brain tumour research is on the verge of exciting breakthroughs. We want to enable researchers to further understand and more completely treat brain tumours, including earlier detection, surgery and post surgery treatments (radiation & chemotherapy).
    CARE:
Supporting young people with rehabilitation therapies and home assistance commonly not covered by insurance.
    DEVELOPMENT:
Inspiring the next generation of brain cancer practitioners & researchers. Through awareness programs, Phd Scholarships and youth engagement activities, we're putting brain matters on the map.
